Ex-Steelers RB Coach Finds New Home

Kirby Wilson Running Backs Coach who has spent the last seven seasons with the Steelers has accepted the same position with the Minnesota Vikings.

The 52 year old assistant will join Mike Zimmers staff in Minnesota as the (RB's) coach, Wilson was eliminated as a potential canindate for the offensive coordinator position with the Baltimore Ravens.

There were reports that Kirby Wilson became more involved in the offense as the Steelers recovered from a disappointing start to the season, Kirby Wilson joined the Steelers when Mike Tomlin took the helm in 2007, previously Kirby Wilson was Running Backs coach with Arizona Cardinals & Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Kirby Wilson believes a change will help him move up the coaching ladder in the future.
